Mark Duggan has been nominated for a 2010 East Coast Music Award in the
R&B/Soul Single Track Recoding of the Year category
. The 2010 East Coast Music Awards, Festival and Conference, will be held March 4-7 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. Percussionist Mark Duggan is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at the Faculty of Music, studying with Gordon Sheard. His area of interest is Brazilian music.
The East Coast Music Awards, Festival & Conference is an annual festival and music industry conference organized by the East Coast Music Association whose mandate is to foster, promote and celebrate East Coast music locally and globally.
Award nominees are chosen by juries of industry professionals from all five regions of the East Coast Music Association: Newfoundland & Labrador, Prince Edward Island, New Brunswick, mainland Nova Scotia and Cape Breton Island. Voting ballots will be sent to all eligible members of the East Coast Music Association, who will vote on the award winners.
