Ginette Duplessis brings extensive experience as an international performer and professor. As soloist in Europe, North and South America, including radio and television broadcasts, she has performed works written for her by such distinguished composers as Coulthard, Hetu and Boulaine. She was a member of the voice faculty at the University of Western Ontario for six years, as well as teaching voice, French diction and French language at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto since 1984. Active as an adjudicator, she has travelled across Canada and the US, as well as presented Master Classes, workshops on movement and breathing for singers and other musicians. She has lectured for the Art of Teaching symposium, sponsored by the RCM. Ms. Duplessis represents the Frederick Harris Music Publishing Company, not only as a complier and editor of the Second Edition of the Songbook Series and Syllabus, but also as a clinician and translator in North America.
