Full-time graduate students in the Faculty of Music are eligible to apply for travel grants of up to $500 per year, to a) present papers (including poster sessions) at professional scholarly conferences, b) participate in major competitions, c) attend premiere performances or significant additional performances of new compositions, or d) participate in significant invited performances or residencies.  These grants do not cover travel for the purpose of auditions, job interviews, research, or attendance at workshops.

Applicants must complete the Graduate Student Travel Grant application form available on the Faculty of Music website, and submit it in hard copy with accompanying current curriculum vitae to the Graduate Department. Successful applicants will be expected to cover all costs initially, and will be reimbursed for the amount of the award upon submission of original receipts, including boarding passes.

Students may apply for travel grants through the Graduate Department of Music.  Applications must be submitted to the Graduate Department (Room 143) by November 1 and February 1.
