UTORmail
The University and its divisions may
use the postal mail system and/or electronic message services as mechanisms for
delivering official correspondence to you.
Official correspondence may include, but is not limited to, matters
related to your participation in academic programs, important information
concerning University and program scheduling, fees information, and other
matters concerning the administration and governance of the University.
You are responsible for maintaining
and advising the University, on ROSI, of a current and valid postal address as
well as the address for a
University-issued e-mail. In other words, students are required to have
and use a UTORmail account (and to add this email address to ROSI). All
correspondence sent from the University of Toronto will only be sent to this
address. You can create an account or modify an existing one at www.utorid.utoronto.ca. All you need
is your T-card.
Failure to do so may result in you
missing important information or deadlines, and will not be considered an
acceptable rationale for failing to receive official correspondence from the
University.
