MusiCounts, a national music education charity, recently announced the new MusiCounts Slaight Family Foundation Innovation Fund, with Associate Professor of Music Education Bina John serving as Program Advisor. This funding stream will support school music programs that use music technology to empower young Canadians. Activities include DJ instruction, Métis fiddling, traditional Indigenous drumming, and more.
