At last minute, recent grad Brayden Friesen fills in on trombone for TSO concert

“I probably had a stupid grin on my face for the rest of the night”

With less than a half-hour warning, recent graduate Brayden Friesen was called up for one of the biggest concerts of his young career.

Just 25 minutes before the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's “A Tribute to Glenn Gould” concert on Saturday night, Friesen was asked to fill in for a trombonist who was stuck in traffic.
