Biographical Note
Don Englert studied music at California State University, Northridge.
He toured for nine years with bands such as Louis Bellson, Buddy Rich, and the Canadian rock band, Lighthouse. Since moving to Toronto, he has worked at the O'Keefe Centre, The Royal Alexandra Theatre, The Royal York Hotel and Hamilton Place. He has worked as a studio musician for the CBC in both television and radio and has performed on many film soundtracks and records.
He performs regularly at the Stratford Festival and with the Dave McMurdo Jazz Orchestra.
